The Hart Baseball family would like to welcome Coach Jake Sandoval for the 2025 season. Sandoval, a 2014 Valencia High School graduate, spent the 2023 campaign as an infield/ first base coach at L.A. Mission College before returning to VHS to assist Coach Meza in 2024. Coach “Sandy” also played at Mission College and earned a ride to Shepherd University before the school’s closure in 2017.

“We are excited to have Coach Sandoval with us in the red and black. His dedication to his craft and bettering himself and his infielders is inspiring,” said Meza. “The knowledge and experience that he gained at the college level will undoubtedly help us continue to move forward as a competitive program every year.”

Coach Sandoval will take the role as our infield coach as well as the mantle of third base coach on the offensive end in the 2025 season. Along with coaching our varsity infielders, he also works as a 13u and 14u coach for the Empire Baseball program. He is well on his way to making baseball a successful full-time career.
