The Hart Baseball Family would like to welcome first-year coach, Alex Fernandez, to the dugout. Yet another Hart Baseball Alumni, Coach “Fern” will add a fresh perspective to the 2025 JV Hawks. The 2017 graduate competed both as an outfielder and right-handed pitcher. After high school, Fernandez played one season at Mission College and one season at College of the Canyons.

“Coach Fern has proven to be a solid addition to the JV staff. Having another Hart Alumni around the yard is sure to be beneficial for our players in developing their roots in tradition and pride,” said Coach Meza. “ Fern’s experience both as a hitter and pitcher is a quality addition to the staff. His youthful energy and relatable approach are respected by our young players.”

Fernandez now works as a Real Estate Agent and Loan Officer in the Santa Clarita Valley. We are excited about the return of Coach Fernandez to the Hart Baseball Program.
