Another Hart Alumni has been making a huge impact this off-season. Coach Connor O’Brien has taken his “high energy, grit, lightning in a bottle” mentality and established it in the 2026 team identity. The 2012 Hart Graduate and second team all conference LA Mission Eagle has been a positive addition these last couple of months. 

“Coach Connor’s attention to the details that are beyond the physical play of baseball has made a daily impact on the culture of this year’s group,” said Coach Meza. “The 2014 LA Mission conference champion continues to instill confidence in our hitters through hard work and dedication to their craft.”

Connor, a 399 Teamster, has a long-rooted family history in Newhall and at Hart High School. His father Kevin also played at Hart for Coach Bud Murray before moving on to COC under legendary Coach Gillespie. We are thankful for his additions to the future success of our 2026 campaign.
