Freshman head coach Joe Pieper begins his 7th year in the Hart dugout for the Indians, and the “Black-and-Red” are truly blessed to have the former College of the Canyon’s outfielder guiding them in 2023. Coach Pieper’s dedication and passion for coaching his players has been evident through the years and the past frosh teams have rewarded his hard work with championship seasons. Coach Pieper, who played for Hall-of-Fame head coach Mike Gillespie at COC, motivates his players with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the game and the Hart Baseball program is blessed by Coach Pieper’s involvement.
“Coach Pieper’s years at Hart have brought a stability and pursuit of excellence within our younger players, and his development leads to improved results for the players as they move to the higher levels. Coach focuses on the essentials in player development and I am proud of Coach Pieper’s record of guiding our student-athletes,” said Coach Ozella. “Joe’s efforts inspire our players to love the game, love the program and love the school.”
Coach Pieper, recently married in the fall of 2022 to Fayezah Nesheiwat, is blessed with three children. Coach Pieper’s three children, daughters Meghan and Caitlin and son Evan, join Coach and Faye in welcoming Faye’s daughters into the Pieper family. Coach Pieper and Faye enjoy their family outings and treasure the further development of their growing family. Coach Pieper works in the Santa Clarita Valley as a real estate developer and project manager for Boulder Builders.
