Player Bio

Gutierrez, injured most of his sophomore year, played his Junior year on the JV to further his development and now provides a potent bat for his senior campaign. Gutierrez, a two-sport student-athlete played football in the fall and now returns to provide a power bat with RBI-capability. Gutierrez adjusts quickly at the plate and can drive the ball to right-center as well as pulling gap shots into the left field corner. Gutierrez also provides a capable option at first base with quickness afoot and a quality throwing arm to roll double plays. Gutierrez is adept at assisting the infielders with off-target throws and the coaching staff believes he is a valuable asset in 2024.
