Edwards, a two-sport standout this year, played football in the fall and now returns to the Hart dugout for the spring season. Edwards, a right-handed pitcher, changed his pitching style in the summer by dropping his arm angle and pitching from a submarine style. Edwards’ results from this lower angle have provided successful results, and Edwards becomes a major factor in the success of the team in 2024. Edwards’ submarine style adds movement to his velocity, and combined with a tight slider, creates a nightmare for opposing hitters. Edwards also wields a potent bat with gap power, and his versatility with the glove allows him to play third base, second base, and first base this upcoming season.
