Daly, a right-handed hitting outfielder, received limited opportunities in 2023 as a sophomore outfielder and the coaching staff expects increased productivity from Daly in 2024. Daly hit .125 in 32 at-bats last year, and this fall’s scrimmages and games have displayed an improved bat path and better productivity on the offensive side. Daly wields extra-base power and RBI-capability, and his hard work continues with improved success. Daly plays left field with wider range due to increased athleticism and Daly’s arm strength has become a serious asset. Daly’s improvement in his overall game assists the Indians in possessing a difficult lineup from the 1st to 9th hitters in the lineup.
