Player Bio

Pontius, a two-sport student-athlete who led the JV football team to the Foothill League title this fall, desires to repeat the championship this spring with Coach Ruiz’s squad. Pontius provides infield flexibility by being able to play multiple positions and possessing a strong arm. Pontius needs to repeat his hitting mechanics and gather repetitions after missing the fall but added strength and conditioning should factor in an improved offensive game. Pontius’ execution on the offensive side should provide a winning combination for a successful spring for him and the Indians.
