Brar, a senior left-handed hitter and pitcher, possesses one of the strongest throwing arms in the program and his pitching talents have turned the corner this fall and winter. Brar’s command improved dramatically in the VIBL summer, and now the Indians need Brar to take his pitching talents to the next level. Brar’s arsenal improved with the development of a tighter slider, and the coaching staff expects consistent performance in 2024. Offensively, Brar provided a capable bat in 2023 by hitting .262, but the senior expects to be a major contributor with increased productivity this spring. Brar’s left-handed swing has gap power, and the Indians need additional extra-base hits as well as RBIs from his bat.
